🔧 How To Season Your Carbon Steel Pan — MUST READ BEFORE USE

⚠️ SEASONING IS MANDATORY — NOT OPTIONAL. Follow these steps carefully:

🧼 STEP 01 — Wash & Dry
Wash the pan with warm soapy water to remove any factory protective coating. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely with a towel.
🛢️ STEP 02 — Apply Oil
Apply a thin layer of high smoke point oil (vegetable, canola, grapeseed, or flaxseed — NOT olive oil) to the entire interior surface. Wipe away excess with a paper towel.
🔥 STEP 03 — Heat the Pan
Place on medium-high heat until the oil begins to smoke (3-5 minutes). The pan will darken — this is normal. Open windows for ventilation.
🔄 STEP 04 — Repeat 2-3 Times
Let the pan cool slightly, then repeat steps 2-3 two or three times. Each layer builds a stronger non-stick coating.
