Cast Iron Caster Wheels
Solid Cast Iron · Galvanized Frame · Heavy Duty
Available in 2 sizes (75mm/100mm) · 2 mount types (Swivel/Swivel+Brake) · Load up to 100 kg per wheel
Cast iron wheels are ideal for heavy-duty industrial applications on hard surfaces like concrete floors, workshop floors, and factory environments.
2. Calculate load per wheel: Total equipment weight ÷ number of castors = load per wheel. Cast iron is ideal for hard surfaces but may mark softer floors.
3. Surface compatibility: Recommended for hard surfaces, concrete floors, industrial workshop floors. Not recommended for delicate flooring like hardwood or polished tile.

Product Description — Cast Iron Series
These solid cast iron caster wheels are engineered for the most demanding industrial environments. Cast iron is renowned for its extreme durability, high load capacity, and resistance to wear — making these casters the go-to choice for factories, warehouses, and heavy-duty workshop equipment.
The galvanized steel frame provides excellent anti-rust protection, ensuring long service life even in challenging conditions. The natural cast iron finish (grey-metal colour) is classic industrial — no paint to chip or peel, just solid, reliable metal. 360° swivel design offers full manoeuvrability.
Available in two diameters (75mm / 3″ and 100mm / 4″) and two mounting configurations — Swivel and Swivel+Brake. Important: Cast iron wheels are recommended for hard surfaces only (concrete, industrial floors). They may damage softer flooring like hardwood or polished tile.

What is Cast Iron? — Material Explained
Cast Iron is a group of iron-carbon alloys with a carbon content greater than 2%. It is known for its excellent compressive strength, wear resistance, and durability. Unlike steel or other metals, cast iron has natural lubricity (graphite content) that reduces friction when rolling on hard surfaces.
The solid cast iron wheels in this series are cast in one piece — no seams, no joints, no weak points. The material is impervious to oils, greases, solvents, and most industrial chemicals. Cast iron will not crack, chip, or deform under heavy loads, making it ideal for stationary equipment that needs occasional movement or heavy carts on concrete floors.
The galvanized steel frame provides excellent corrosion resistance. Galvanization is a process of applying a protective zinc coating to steel to prevent rusting. The result is a silver-grey finish that matches the cast iron wheels perfectly. Important surface note: Cast iron wheels are designed for hard surfaces only (concrete, industrial floors). They will mark or damage softer flooring like hardwood, tile, or vinyl. For delicate floors, consider PU or TPR casters instead.
