These maroon red PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride) caster wheels offer an excellent balance of performance and value. PVC is a durable, hard-wearing material that provides good chemical resistance and reliable rolling characteristics at a more economical price point than PU or TPR alternatives.
The zinc-plated frame offers reliable corrosion protection with a classic industrial silver-grey finish. Grey dust caps protect the bearings from debris while maintaining a clean, professional appearance. A double-sealed bearing system ensures smooth, maintenance-free rotation.

PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride) is a versatile, hard-wearing thermoplastic used extensively in caster wheels for light to medium duty applications. At 85–90 Shore A, PVC is significantly firmer than TPR (65–70A) but slightly softer than high-durometer PU, providing a good balance of durability and rolling efficiency.
The maroon red colour is integrated throughout the material — not a surface coating — ensuring consistent appearance even after years of use. PVC offers good resistance to oils, greases, and mild chemicals, making it suitable for workshops, kitchens, and light industrial environments.
The zinc-plated frame provides reliable corrosion protection at an economical price point, while the grey dust caps keep bearings clean. PVC is best suited for indoor, smooth floor applications with ambient temperatures between -10°C and +50°C. For applications requiring higher load capacity, extreme temperature resistance, or ultra-quiet operation, consider upgrading to PU or TPR.
